Before you get started
Mister Size condoms are generally easy to use and fun. When used correctly, they help prevent pregnancy and the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases. For optimal protection, you should know or determine your correct condom size. You’ll find all the instructions for using condoms again at the end of this article—and, of course, officially listed on every condom package.
Once you’ve found the right condom for you, take a close look at the individual condom wrapper and check for any damage. If the wrapper is obviously damaged, you should throw the condom away. For your own safety and that of your partner, use only undamaged condoms.
Before putting on the condom, you should have a full erection. Don’t try to put the condom on your penis until it’s fully erect. Once your penis is hard, you can put the condom on; this should always be done before you have any physical contact with your partner, since a small amount of semen can sometimes leak out even before orgasm.
After use
As soon as possible after orgasm—but definitely before the penis goes soft—you should completely withdraw the penis, still in the condom, from your partner. To be on the safe side, it’s best to hold onto the condom while withdrawing to prevent it from slipping off and potentially allowing semen to leak out.
After use, please do not flush the used condom down the toilet, just as you wouldn’t flush other items that aren’t meant for the toilet. Otherwise, your drain pipes might eventually get clogged—and no one really wants that hassle after the best thing in the world. You should always dispose of condoms in the regular household trash.
Important Information Before Using Mister Size Condoms
- If you need additional lubricant, use a water-based lubricant.
- Do not use oil-based lubricants such as petroleum jelly, mineral oil, or body lotion, as these can weaken the condom and lead to product failure. This also applies to some topical medications (medications applied locally, such as ointments or creams) applied to the penis or vagina. If you’re unsure about the effects of any medications you’re using in conjunction with condoms, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- Do not use the condom if the rubber is sticky or brittle, or if the individual wrapper is visibly damaged.
- See a doctor as soon as possible, or at least within 72 hours, if a condom leaks or breaks during use.
- Condoms are intended for single-use only. Reusing condoms can increase the risk of damage and infection.
- When used correctly during every sexual encounter, latex condoms help prevent pregnancy and reduce the risk of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections.
- No method of contraception can provide 100% protection against pregnancy or the transmission of HIV and sexually transmitted diseases. If you suspect that you or your partner is pregnant or has been infected, contact your doctor immediately.
- This product contains natural latex, which can cause allergic reactions, including anaphylactic shock. If you are allergic to natural latex products, consult your doctor before use.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep out of reach of children. Inflated or broken condoms pose a choking hazard.
- Using condoms during oral sex increases the risk of suffocation.
- Using additional lubricant during anal sex can reduce the risk of injury.
- A condom is a medical device intended for laypeople—adult men or women.
- Any serious incident related to the product must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State in which the user and/or patient resides.
- These condoms comply with the international standards ISO 4074 / EN ISO 4074.
